Heartsease Park Tennis Courts – Now Reopen
We’re delighted to announce that the tennis courts at Heartsease Park are now reopen and ready for play.
Over the past few months, we’ve been working closely with the local authority, community partners, and enforcement teams to address the challenges that led to the temporary closure. As part of this, CCTV has now been installed to help protect the facility and ensure a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone.
A significant amount of the previous damage was caused by the use of roller skates and similar activities on the courts. With the council’s recent investment in a dedicated local skatepark, we hope this will provide a more suitable space for those activities and help preserve the tennis courts for their intended use.
That said, we do still need your support.
If you witness any anti-social behaviour or misuse of the courts, please report it to the relevant local authorities. Your vigilance and cooperation will play a key role in helping us maintain the quality and safety of the venue.
Together, we can protect and bring this fantastic community facility back to life, ensuring it remains a place for local people to enjoy tennis for years to come.
