We regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the courts at Heartsease Park.

Since the investment in revitalising these courts and incorporating them into the Norwich Parks Tennis offer, we have faced persistent challenges in protecting them from vandalism and misuse. Despite our best efforts, these issues have continued, and we feel it is necessary to take proactive steps to address them.

This decision was not made lightly. Our top priority is to ensure that our players feel safe and that the venue remains a welcoming and enjoyable space for everyone. Unfortunately, at present, the risk of further vandalism and potential abuse towards our players is too significant to ignore.

We are actively collaborating with the local authority, community support teams, and enforcement agencies to develop a robust plan to tackle these issues. Our goal is to implement effective measures over the winter months and to reopen the courts in the spring, fully restored and better protected for the community’s enjoyment.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Updates will be shared as progress is made, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Heartsease Park soon.
